How to Care for Personalised & Embroidered Gifts

Washing embroidered blankets & fabric items

• Wash cool. A gentle 30°C cycle protects both the fabric and the stitching.
• Turn it inside out where you can, to shield the embroidery from rubbing.
• Skip the fabric softener on anything soft/fluffy — it can flatten the pile over time.
• Reshape while damp and dry flat or on a low tumble; avoid wringing.

Looking after felt keepsakes & decorations

Our felt gingerbread characters and decorations aren''t machine-washable. Spot-clean gently with a damp cloth if needed, and store them somewhere dry between seasons — a little tissue paper in the decorations box keeps them lovely year after year.

Ironing

If something needs a press, iron on the reverse on a low heat and avoid going directly over the embroidery.
